We want you to love your online purchase from River Goddess!

You can receive either store credit or refund for full priced items that are returned due to incorrect size purchased, dislike of fit, or style of the item. We do not offer refunds for sale items ( this includes sale codes) but store credit is available.

If you choose to receive store credit on any full-priced item, we will credit you an extra AUD$15.00 on your next purchase! Otherwise, the refund option is available.

Returns are accepted strictly within 21 days from the date of purchase and 28 days for international orders from the date of purchase. Cost of return shipping is to be paid by the customer.

Condition of returned goods

Items must be in original condition and must not have been worn, altered or washed. All tags and packaging must remain in place. We suggest that all items should be tried on as soon as they are received to ensure you are able to return items within our returns timeframe.

How to return an item

Email us at admin@rivergoddess.co, letting us know of the reason for returning, whether you would prefer store credit or refund (refund only applies to full priced items), the order number, and the tracking number.

Once the items have been received they will undergo a quality review and if not damaged, we will either refund you or give you store credit. We do not refund shipping charges unless your items are faulty. Postage is to be paid by the customer.

Faulty Items

We inspect each item carefully before sending out to our customers. If you receive a garment with a manufacturing fault our team will provide you with a replacement garment should one be available and if not a refund will be provided.

All returns should be sent via registered post. Returned items lost in the post are not the responsibility of River Goddess.

Pre-orders

Pre- orders can't be returned for a refund, we allow only exchange or store credit. Please note that the pre-orders can be delayed sometimes.

RETURNS POLICY FOR PURCHASES IN OUR RETAIL STORE

For any purchases made at our shop in Cairns and Port Douglas, Unfortunately we don’t offer refunds for change of mind. However we do offer exchange or an store/online credit for returns within 30 days of purchase. Returned items must still be in the same condition as purchased with original tags still in place and proof of purchase must be presented.

AU and NZ orders over AUD$200 receive free express shipping.

Standard shipping to all major cities is 3-5 business days.

Once your parcel has been dispatched you will receive updates regarding the progress of your delivery.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

International shipping on all orders is a flat rate of AUD$15 for standard service and express is AUD$20.

Standard shipping to all major cities (Australia Post) is about 6-10 business days and express (DHL) is about 3-5 business days. Please note- this timeframe is an estimate and not a gurantee.

CURRENCY, TAXES AND DUTY

Please note that all payments made on this site are in Australian Dollars.

For orders being shipped within Australia, prices are inclusive of GST.

International customers are responsible for any local taxes and duties. Express International orders are more likely to attract Customs and Duty charges while Standard International is delivered through the post system and generally avoids these charges. We do not accept returns due to the recipient being charged customs fees or duties.

We are legally required to declare total value paid on international shipments and must include an invoice with all international orders.

Stunning colours

I adore this. I don’t usually wear this colour but the beautiful neutral colour of the flowers off sets the rusty orange so that it doesn’t feel too much, it’s really natural and lovely.
At 160cm it came to the ground on me so I’ve had it just taken up a couple of cms, but these dresses are very easy to hem as it is so flowy it doesn’t have to be dead straight.
At size 20ish I probably should have got the xl as the XXL is quite roomy however I prefer the bust line a bit lower so I tend to go up a size in these dresses for that reason, even though I don’t need the room anywhere else.

Lovely dress but huge and long.

This is a lovely dress, don't get me wrong, but it is very long and big in the size I bought XXL. I'm trying to get a dress for a posh wedding and as the ad for this dress kept popping up on facebook and I have failed so many times to find the right outfit I thought I'd chance it, even though it turned out the company was in Australia. Having waited a while for the dress to arrive I tore the package open in front of the postman and held it up and he said, it's a bit big. He's right. The dress swamped me but Australia is too far away from England to send it back so I decided to alter the dress to fit. This is how i know how well made this garment is - very well stitched. So I have removed the bottom tier and rehemmed it and it looks fine. I won't wear it to the wedding because the neckline is too high and, well, it's not the dress, it's me. It's a shame that clothing sizes are usually cut so small because when you find a company that actually makes larger clothes they turn out too big. If you are not slim and not tall this dress is probably not for you. I am planning to use the spare fabric I removed to make a dress for my son's girlfriend so we can be matchy matchy at the wedding. NO not really. Don't be put off. These garments are great quality and very pretty and maybe take a chance the other way and go a size down rather than up. Meanwhile my search for wedding camouflage continues ....

Beautiful and comfortable

Everything I hoped for and more! I'm an 18-20/2x in US sizes and the XXL is just the right amount of oversized. I love that it comes nowhere near your armpits so it's cool for summer, despite the long sleeves. :) The print is stunning, and I love the little bells on the ties.
